Our Story
THE PASSION FOR PIZZA
Mike Vitow arrived at Cultus Lake in 1979 with a suitcase and some wonderful recipes from New York City where he grew up.
J. Beethoven's Pizza opened its doors on May 18th of that year and has pleased thousand of people since. In March 2005, J. Beethoven's was purchased by Najib Abunnadi to carry on the twenty six year old tradition of J. Beethoven's Pizza.
Why J. Beethoven's?
At the time Mike was considering a name and he was watching the movie "A clockwork orange" when Beethoven's Music was featured, and Mike likes Beethoven's music.
Mike has a friend as an astrologist who suggested the letter "J" for good luck, and that's how the name became a reality.
